Being active members of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark Regenerative Tourism Business Network, we truly understand the importance of accessibility and inclusivity that travellers take into consideration when they are choosing and booking their destination and travel itinerary.

With this in mind, we have taken several steps to re-assure our guests of our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity when they are considering  to reserve their stay with us.  These steps are, as follows:

As Hawthorn Lodge B&B - Belturbet is situated within peaceful and quiet surroundings.  You can be rest-assured of a good night's sleep, as our pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic, and not a feather in sight!

So allergy sufferers, you can sleep easy...

Dietary Requirements

At Hawthorn Lodge B&B - Belturbet, we understand the importance of our guest's specific dietary requirements.  Such as coeliac, dairy-intolerant, allergies to specific food types etc...

With this in mind, we have created a series of menus specifically tailoured to suit our guest's dietary requirements for our guests to complete the night before breakfast the next morning.

We also ask our guests in advance prior to their stay with us,  if they have any specific dietary requirements, so that their every need is catered for.

Just in case our guests are not sure if we have a menu to suit their needs, here is a list of the diets we cater for:

Sensory Garden

Hawthorn Lodge B&B - Belturbet is situated in the middle of the coutryside.  Surrounded by landscaped gardens and ponds.  

With stunning views of Lough Arden, mountains and fields with cattle and sheep happily roaming around.

We have bird tables and bird feeders.  which are visible from the Sunroom.  Whereby, guests can observe a plethora of varieties of different types of birds and listen to birdsong whilst enjoying their breakfast and morning coffee. 

We have Bug Hotels, polytunnels, gardens for guests to freely walk around.  Flower and raised vegetable beds with plants for guests to touch and smell.

We have two ornamental ponds with fountains, so that guests can enjoy the gentle sound of the water and a wildlife pond too.
